SAVE – Virgin Islands Sailing
St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

Our Captain Community helps new sailors to captain, bareboat charter, buy a boat, gain experience and/or all the above. We are the only sailing school using 2015 or newer boats. We visit St Thomas, St John, Virgin Islands national park, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Anegada, and Virgin Gorda, while snorkeling, sailing fast, touring epic trails, eating lobster & Caribbean cuisine, enjoying nightlife and anchoring in secluded bays.

We are dedicated to cruising couples and singles with learn to sail, all-inclusive, multi day, live aboard courses taught by specifically trained instructors. Our focus is on the local experience, belonging to the community and care for our planet.

You take the helm and work as a team to operate the vessel safely with merit. During the 8-hour day, we start with class on the boat, then hands on sail to our lunch snorkeling spot and then more practice sailing to our overnight anchorage for debrief and knot tying practice. We provide a learning environment that is relaxed yet effective.

Our fleet of monohulls 24-50ft and catamarans 40-50ft are 2015 or NEWER Leopard, Lucia Fountaine Pajot, Saba, Helia, and Jeanneau and offer ASA alumni discounts to bareboat charter. We know the Virgin Islands are the best place to sail on the planet! We also offer customized instruction on private vessels.

All our USCG Captains and ASA certified instructors have 20 + years’ experience sailing all over the world.
