As Manhattan’s longest-running sailing school, Atlantic Yachting has 18 years of experience teaching children and adults in the Hudson River and New York Harbor. We provide top-notch instruction for all skill levels, but our specialty is teaching beginners. Whether in our weekend group courses or private lessons scheduled at your convenience, our entertaining, patient instructors are just as psyched about introducing you to their favorite pastime as you are about learning it.

Located in Hudson River Park’s Pier 25 in Tribeca, you’ll sail past the Statue of Liberty, with the world-famous Manhattan Skyline as your background.

Our J/24 and J/80 sailboats have a performance racing pedigree, yet still provide a safe, solid base for learning the ropes and moving up to larger boats and more advanced courses.

For more advanced students, we teach ASA 103 Coastal Cruising on Vitamin Sea, a Beneteau Oceanis 38.1. This is the exact kind of modern cabin cruiser you’d encounter on your first bareboat sail in the Mediterranean or Caribbean – in fact, that’s where we found her!

Join us today for an unforgettable educational experience and a refreshing mini-escape from the city.

Come sail with us, and find a new passion…and maybe even some new friends!
