We are located in some of the best sailing/cruising waters on the Great Lakes. In Traverse City, we have access to countless coves, beaches, islands, harbor towns and picturesque marinas to visit during a course or a charter. We have a fleet of 25 charter boats between 31′ and 45′. After you graduate from our award winning ASA school, we will confidently send you and your crew out on one of them! We have been teaching sailing for over 30 years and we have some instructors that have been with us the whole way. Come visit Traverse City for a learning vacation and we will even put you up on the boat you are training on, there is no better way to get to know a cruising boat than to spend a couple of nights aboard.
Every season we organize two ‘Flotillas’. These are group sailing events designed to help sailors step outside their comfort zone with our team for support. You can bring your own boat, charter one of ours, book a cabin, take a licensed captain, or even get ASA certifications during the week long adventure. We offer 101, 103 and 104 on these events while visiting islands, secluded coves and little northern Michigan harbor towns along the way. We sail together, anchor together, watch and evaluate weather together. There is always help to get you in and out of unfamiliar marinas and slips and there is always new friends and great cruising partners to meet along the way.
