Catering to your needs is what we do best. We have flexibility to work with your busy schedule and take the time to understand where you are on your journey in learning to sail so that you can continue to develop as a sailboat captain. Our goal is to ensure that you learn all about catamarans and the catamaran sailing skills you need to be comfortable and enjoy captaining your own catamaran or charter boat.
Sail Away Catamarans has many ASA certification locations. These locations include Chesapeake Bay, Key West, Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and the US and Spanish Virgin Islands.
Sail Away Catamarans offers private and group sailing lessons. We leave the size of your class up to you. Our ASA 114 course can be taught on a variety of catamaran manufacturers from Fountaine Pajot, Leopard, Seawind and more. After you have finished your course, you can then charter one of our amazing catamarans in any of our fleet locations and be your own captain! Many new catamaran owners find that insurance coverage requires ASA certification to captain their own boat. We can help you get certified and, if you prefer, teach you on your own catamaran.
