Aloha! Sail Hawaii offers beginner to advanced sailing and navigation courses and private cruises to visitors and kama’aina in the beautiful waters of Hawai’i. Our ASA sailing courses are conducted by friendly and experienced instructors using clear and organized teaching methods and with sailing practice aboard our classic full keel sloops. Courses are scheduled regularly and are affordably priced for individuals and small private groups.

Basic Keelboat 101 (beginner) and Basic Coastal Cruising 103 are regularly conducted over a weekend of day sailing off Waikiki on a classic Pearson Ariel 26. Bareboat Cruising 104 and Advanced Coastal Cruising 106 are taught as live aboard, multi-day sailing adventures around the Hawaiian islands on a classic Pearson Alberg 35. Coastal Navigation 105 and theory discussions are held in our comfortable, air conditioned classroom, co-located with Ala Wai Yacht Brokerage in the Ilikai Hotel, nearest to Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and Waikiki.

We also offer a week long “cruise & learn” holiday program ~ The Pacific Offshore Challenge ~ an unforgettable live aboard sailing adventure and most unique way to experience sailing around the Hawaiian islands.
