We are proud to say that we are the first ASA school in Croatia and just one of a few in Europe. Our business is held by one family and during these 30 years of nautical tourism, We have specialized ourselves to teach people about sailing and sea. So from grandfather to grandson we teach traditional sailing as it was done 100 years ago all the way through modern sailing via the ASA program.
Our school is located on north Adriatic which is surrounded with islands and beautiful national parks. The weather is warm from April till November and sea temperature is perfect for swimming. The wind mostly alternates from north-east cooler wind called bura to warm south wind call yugo. This area is perfect for students to learn about weather because it’s constantly changing but is always stable enough for sailing.
From families, couples or singles of any age, everyone is welcome and we have suitable programs for all of you. During our courses you will visit lots of different places – small old cities, national parks, islands and big cities. You will make a plan together with your instructor depending on the weather forecast which will be great experience for your future of sailing. Also, on the first day we go to groceries store together so we make sure everybody has their favorite food on board and your instructor will teach you what kind of groceries are suitable for boat how much you’ll need. All our boats have kitchens so maybe you’ll even learn some new meals to cook.
We have different types of boats available, mostly Beneteau and Jeanneau, and we pick them depending on how many students we have and their preferences. We usually have groups from 2-5 students private courses are also available. Through all these years we have even rebuilt one antique sailing boat that is 75 ft long and quite often we take our students out sailing on her to see how it is to control the sails and all the ropes by hand without any winches or instruments.
