Since the establishment of Qingdao Maywind Yacht Club, we have always been promoting the development of sailing as our own responsibilities and to carry out promotion and popularity of nautical sports in china. As member of Chinese Yachting Association(CYA) and Shandong Nautical Sports Association, we have had strategic cooperation with Chinese Yachting Association. A common development and construction of Youth Elite Training Centre with CYA has been made and to create our own iconic sailing event. Qingdao Maywind Yacht Club is base at Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, where the 2008 Olympic Sailing competition was held. It holds year-round major sailing events such as Clipper Round the World Race and CCOR(City Clubs Open Regatta International) etc. It is the top sailing center in China with choice of amenities and strong culture of sailing. Fushan Bay waters are ideal for sailing where our club is located. Our club has varies wharves suitable for sailing in Jiaozhou Bay, Huiquan Bay and Xingguang Island in Qingdao. Training locations are flexible according to the wind and the course needs on the day. There are varies types of sailing boats in the club, such as BENETEAU, FAREAST and HOBIE. Everyone’s needs can be meet in different environments and weather.
