Captain Jean De Keyser of Med Sailing Adventures is leading flotillas in the Mediterranean all summer and has just secured a few more yachts for a trip to Europe’s best-kept secret, Montenegro.
Med Sailing adventures have been able to source a few yachts for the week of September 25 to October 2 for their ASA flotilla to Montenegro. What to expect?
Sail with from Dubrovnik to the city of Kotor, at the end of the famous bay of the same name. Hike to Ft. St. John. Visit Porto Montenegro in Tivat, one of the most luxurious marinas in the world and home of many mega yachts.
Go ashore and marvel at the beauty of the monastery of St. Mary’s of the Rocks on its small island near Perast. Enjoy fabulous Balkan and Mediterranean cuisine.
Getting there:
Dubrovnik is easy to reach from the United States. Fly to Rome, Madrid, Paris or any major European hub and connect directly on flights to Dubrovnik.
You only have to submit a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination.
Dealing with customs is easy and Montenegro is way less expensive than Croatia and, although not part of the European Union, Montenegro does accept the Euro.
