Where Is Your Dream Destination?

By: Destinations, Schools, Social Media

We asked our social media audience about their dream destinations and they responded with enthusiasm.

As you work from home, take a look at some of these desktop getaways.

Do You Have a Dream Destination?

French Polynesia was by far the most stated dream destination.  Consider a flotilla in Tahiti with Captain Lucy Newman and South Coast Sailing Adventures or take a look at Sailing Virgins schedule of ASA classes in French Polynesia.

Greece and the Greek Islands seem to be on everyone’s wish list so you can be sure that when the COVID-19 madness subsides sailors will flock to the waters off the coast of this Mediterranean Jewel.  Learn to sail in Corfu with Captain Dimitris Bampakos at Fair Winds Sailing or sail the Greek Islands with the Athens Sailing Academy.

BVI (British Virgin Islands) are high on the list for many sailors. Can you blame them with the easy to navigate islands and the endless beach bars and secluded beaches? Did you know that ASA has 10 sailing schools in the British Virgin Islands? The British Virgin Islands are the most popular spot among ASA members for sailboat charters. Find a charter or a flotilla in the BVI

British Columbia, Canada and the San Juan Islands are a favorite among sailors. You can sail out of Washington State where ASA has 3 sailing schools. Seattle Sailing Club, Puget Sound Sailing Institute and San Juan Sailing.

Italy will soon need the support of Sailors and tourists. You can sail the Adriatic with Adriatic Sailing in Croatia

Hawaii is a popular spot for tourists but sailors have noted that they are ready to sail the tradewinds of the 50th state. Take a look at some details on sailing Hawaii from Sail Hawaii and then choose from one of three ASA schools in Hawaii.
