NotesI am a Master Captain and an ASA Sailing Instructor. I currently live in the Florida Keys and work as a Charter Captain. I have extensive sailing experience and have sailed my own boat through the Bahamas solo. I have also done charters in the BVI. I love teaching people to sail! Before getting my Captains license, I had a long career in the corporate world. I have excellent people skills. I am a hard worker and a good problem solver. I work well under pressure and keep calm in stressful situations. I think I would be an excellent fit for your organization.

NotesI am a snowbird, and I have kept busy in 2023 teaching ASA sailing (4.0 rating) and providing my services as a charter captain throughout Narragansett Bay (where I keep my boat). I have been teaching sailing for ASA and US/Sailing schools since 2013. I am also an ABYC Certified Marine Electrical Technician. My passion is sailing and introducing students to the cruising lifestyle. You can learn more about me and see a portion of the sailing curriculum that I have developed (I have 101, 103, 104 & 106 curricula) via my LinkedIn page < LinkedIn.com/in/edherlihy > I would like to find a position with a school that can leverage my 20+ years of corporate training experience.
