Sail with Capt. Jean & “Admiral” Mila from “Games of Thrones” Dubrovnik to the walled medieval city of Korcula, home of Marco Polo. Along the way, visit the beautiful anchorage of Sipan island, the stunningly beautiful national park island of Mljet with its island within an island and the ancient Benedictine abbey of St. Mary. Walk the walls of Ston, the longest walls in the world after the Great Chinese Wall. Enjoy fabulous food and excellent local wines and share the fellowship of sailing with new friends.
We will be sailing about 4 to 5 hours a day with plenty of time for on-shore exploration and dinners in local restaurants.
Our boats, depending on the number of participants will be monohulls in the 45′ to 54′ range, like Bavarias, Jeanneaus, Benneteaus, Dufours, etc. Last night from Friday to Saturday can be spent on board after our return to the charter base.
Capt. Jean De Keyser and “Admiral” Mila, have introduced hundreds on sailors, experienced and beginners, to the fun of flotilla sailing. They have been doing this for over ten years and, in cooperation with Sea Safaris Sailing School of Chicago, are also organizing flotillas in Croatia, Turkey, Italy and Spain. Jean holds a USCG 100T Master ticket with towing and sailing endorsements and is an ASA instructor 101, 103, 104, 114, 105 and 108.
We went with Jean and Mila to Croatia on our first “Flotilla” several years ago. It was a superbly orchestrated event. The sailing was outstanding and the ports were spectacular. The trip gave some independence but was “group” enough for the novice Cruiser too! Jean was great “tour guide’ for the trip. We returned with Jean and Mila to Mallorca with the whole family, this trip too was outstanding! The culture, the food, The sailing! Zero knots overnight and builds to 15-18 by 3 PM. Great sailing! The Cala’s were beautiful!

We have sailed with Jean and Mila on 2 separate occasions, both in, Croatia, and found them to be delightful people to be with on a sailing adventure. They know the sailing areas and islands extremely well, including hidden gems and restaurants on each island that you might not find on your own. They are well organized and do an excellent job of planning, yet remain flexible enough to take into account the desires of the group. We hope to take more sailing adventures with them in the future.
