So, all these years you have heard about the annual ASA sailing flotillas in Croatia. You have heard how uniquely beautiful the country and its islands are. You have seen pictures of the happy crew members discovering the local historic sites, the delicious gastronomy and enjoying that special sailing fellowship with likeminded cruising enthusiasts.

Why not be part of the picture this year with our 2017 Annual Croatia Flotilla? Isn’t it time for you to enjoy the wonders of Croatia?

This year we are offering a two-week flotilla program from June 10 to June 24. Our itinerary will be from the medieval city of Trogir, a Unesco World Heritage Site near Split, to the legendary city of Dubrovnik.

Our crew members can chose to take part only in the trip from Trogir to Dubrovnik during the first week (June 10-17) or from Dubrovnik back to Trogir the second week (June 17-24). Or you can chose to sail along for both weeks.

The itinerary for the first week will include the island of Vis where we will visit our favorite vineyard, Hvar with its historic fortress, Korčula, the home of Marco Polo, Polace on Mljet island with its hauntingly beautiful nature park and finally Dubrovnik.

The return trip during the second week will include Lopud in the Elephati chain of islands, Pomena on Mljet, Lumbarda on Korčula, Lastovo island and back to Trogir via Brač. This itinerary may be subject to change according to crewmembers wishes.

Enjoy sailing aboard a modern and well-equipped mono-hull (Jeanneau, Beneteau, Bavaria or Elan) or catamaran (Lagoon), the yacht size vary from 35′ to 54′. All our yachts come equipped with a full galley, towels, linen, chart plotters and charts. We also include a dinghy and outboard for you to discover the hidden coves and beaches.

The pricing per person depends on the type of yacht and the number of crew members aboard. Participants will have to pay their own airfare and hotel costs. Shared costs such as provisioning, docking and refueling are managed on each boat with a boat kitty.

Your guides will be Capt. Jean De Keyser and his “Admiral” Mila. They have been leading the Croatia and Spain ASA flotillas for many years now and are thoroughly familiar with the area and its attractions.

Jean and Mila’s knowledge of the area and sailing expertise made us feel safe at all times during our 2013 Croatia sailing trip. Their gracious hospitality and good humor kept us in good spirits. We look forward to sailing with them again, soon!

  • Jean’s sailing and organizational skills are of the highest quality! Every one took turns at the helm while Jean kept an eye out for trouble. We had a wonderful experience cruising with Jean and Mila. We would sail anywhere in the world with them!
